Teenage boy injured while swimming at Black Point pool
A teenage boy was taken to a hospital with head and neck injuries he received while swimming with other teenagers at Cromwell’s pool near the Doris Duke estate on Black Point.
Firefighters were called at 12:10 this afternoon after Ocean Safety lifeguards were able to stabilize the boy’s injuries.
Emergency personnel airlifted the victim to a park in the Diamond Head area, where an ambulance took him to a hospital.
The boy was swimming with at least six other teenagers when he was injured, fire officials said.
