Danielson earns WAC honor, Hawaii stay at No. 10

    Kanani Danielson has been the picture of consistency throughout her career with the Wahine.

Hawaii senior outside hitter Kanani Danielson was named Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week today. It was the ninth weekly honor of her career.

Danielson tallied 40 kills, 28 digs, seven assists and six blocks over three matches en route to earning Most Outstanding Player honors at the Chevron Rainbow Wahine Invitational. She led Hawaii to the tournament title with wins over San Francisco, Wichita State and Arizona, with match-high kills in all three contests.
 
Also today, Hawaii remained at No. 10 in the AVCA Coaches Top 25. The Rainbow Wahine also received one first-place vote.
