Police arrested a 26 year-old man who allegedly robbed a guest at a Waikiki hostel Tuesday afternoon.
The victim, a 34 year-old man, told police that he allowed the suspect into his room near 2 p.m. thinking he was a hostel employee. The suspect, who has no local address,allegedly tried to take items in the room and the victim called police. Before officers arrived the suspect kicked and punched the victim, police said. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second degree robbery.
