Police arrested a 30-year-old man Tuesday night after allegedly he tried to push his girlfriend out of his car during an argument while they were traveling on Moanalua Road near Mapunapuna.
Police said the alleged incident occurred at 11:40 p.m. near the Puuloa Road overpass. The man tried to unlatch the girlfriend’s seat belt in an attempt to push her out of the moving car, police said. The man also injured her with the car’s cigarette lighter, police said.
