Motorists are advised to allow for extra travel time if you are going through Waikiki through Kalia Road.

Board of Water Supply crews will be investigating possible water leaks Tuesday starting at 9 a.m.

The leak detection work will involve the closure of the southbound lane of Kalia Road directly across from Ena Road.  The left-turn lane of Kalia Road will be used to contra-flow traffic.

Motorists are advised to please use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.  Signs and arrow boards will be in place to notify motorists of the lane closures.

If a leak is detected, a repair job will be scheduled to fix the leak. The work is part of the BWS’s ongoing water system leak detection program.
