Hawaiian Airlines inaugurates San Jose-Kahului flight

Hawaiian Airlines will begin flying between San Jose and Maui in January, timed to facilitate winter vacations on the Valley Isle.

The three-times-a-week flights will depart Kahului Airport at 1:25 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving at Mineta San Jose International Airport at 8:25 p.m. Return flights arrive in Kahului at 11:45 a.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The airline’s introductory round-trip fare of $298.40 plus taxes and fees, will be applicable for travel between January 10 and March 14. Tickets must be purchased by Sept. 14.
