The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office says an autopsy confirms a Japanese tourist who fell from a moving trolley died from head injuries sustained in the fall.
The Medical Examiner’s Office said Wednesday the death is considered an accident.
Police say the 71-year-old man was standing in the tour trolley and fell out as the vehicle was leaving a Honolulu shopping center Monday.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
The Medical Examiner’s Office says he has not yet been positively identified.
