No. 11 Hawaii turns back Idaho in 4

Kanani Danielson put down 24 kills and Jane Croson added 19 as No. 19 Hawaii won its Western Athletic Conference opener today in Moscow, Idaho, when topping Idaho 25-21, 25-19, 17-25, 25-21.

Danielson also had 10 digs, giving her 1,002 for her career. She becomes the seventh Rainbow Wahine to reach the 1,000-kill, 1,000-dig mark.

Croson picked up a double-double with 13 digs.

Hawaii improves to 11-1 overall, 1-0 WAC. Idaho drops to 5-8 and 0-1. 

The Wahine travel to Utah State to play the Aggies Saturday (10 a.m. Hawaii time).
