A 31-year-old Ewa Beach man appeared in Honolulu District Court Thursday morning on charges that he kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman this month.

Anthony C. Kaikaka, of a Hoomalie Street address, is being held on $50,000 bail. Police said he unlawfully entered the 28-year-old woman’s Waipahu home about 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 4, sexually assaulted her, held her against her will and damaged her car.

He was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with kidnapping, two counts of first-degree sexual assault, first-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal property damage.
