Waianae men held in alleged car break-in
A Waianae man suspected in a car break-in chose the wrong place to flee on Saturday.
According to police, a witness noticed the 31-year-old man entering a car that did not belong to him and called police. The suspect fled to the home of a 72-year-old woman who had an active temporary restraining order against him.
The police located, identified and arrested the man for first-degree unauthorized entry into a motorized vehicle as well as violation of a TRO.
