Japanese navy squadron visiting Pearl Harbor
A Japanese naval training squadron is making a port visit to Pearl Harbor.
The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Training Squadron arrived Monday at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The squadron includes three ships — the JS Kashima, the JS Asagiri and the JS Mineyuki. The 750 sailors on board will be attending professional and social events during their visit.
The Japan Training Squadron band is scheduled to perform at Ala Moana Shopping Center at 5 p.m.
