Police credit 2 men with capture of burglary suspect
Two Waianae men confronted and captured a 22-year-old man who tried to burglarize a Waianae home Monday night, police said.
The 22-year-old man reportedly kicked open the door to a Waianae home just before 9:30 p.m. A 51-year-old woman ran from the home and found the two men, who confronted the suspect in the house. The suspect then tried to flee. But the two men caught the suspect and held him police arrived.
