Kauai brush fire burns 3 acres near Aloha Beach Resort
A brush fire burned about three acres in Wailua early Saturday between Leho Road and Kuhio Highway in the vicinity of Aloha Beach Resort, Kauai firefighters said.
No one was injured and no structures were threatened.
The fire broke out at about 12:40 a.m. and was brought under control at 1 a.m. Firefighters extinguished the blaze at 2 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
