Maili man arrested for alleged assault of teenage neighbor
A verbal argument between neighbors turned violent with a man striking a teenager with a dangerous instrument in Maili early Tuesday morning, police said.
The man, 62, of Heleuma Street, was located, identified and arrested on 10:50 a.m. on Farrington Highway on suspicion of second-degree assault.
Neither the severity of the injuries nor the type of weapon used was disclosed by police.
