Waipahu homeowner allegedly threatened by suspect

Police arrested a 19-year-old Waipahu man who may have pointed a weapon at a Waipahu homeowner, who noticed the suspect loitering near his house.

Police said a 35-year-old Waipahu man noticed the suspect loitering near his home at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday  and confronted the 19-year-old man. Police said the suspect then threatened the 38-year-old man with what appeared to be a handgun.

Police arrested the suspect and released him pending further investigation for first-degree terroristic threatening.
