Free-diver recovered unconscious off Kaena Point
A 40-year-old male diver was recovered unconscious in waters off Kaena Point just before noon today.
The man was free-diving with a friend, an Emergency Medical Services official said.
The fire department airlifted the man to Yokohama Bay where he was taken by ambulance in critical condition to an area hospital, an EMS supervisor said.
