Firefighters put out fire on roof of Pacific Beach Hotel
A fire on the roof of Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki was quickly brought under control by firefighters Friday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 2:47 p.m. and deemed under control at 3:09 p.m., said Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig.
He said the blaze was confined to the roof, but smoke went into the top two or three floors.
