Just in time for holiday shopping, Nordstrom has released its Nordstrom app, for shopping at your fingertips.

The app, which can be downloaded free at the Apple iTunes store, allows shoppers to browse favorite brands, get product information, read customer reviews, check availability at a nearby store and make purchases on the go.

Once in the store, you’ll be able to scan bar codes to get more information. The best part is you can create wish lists to share with family and friends and, hopefully, banish the post-holiday return frenzy forever.

Alas, I tried to download it on my iPhone, but you must have the iOS 4.3 operating system. My phone’s too old! So the latest iPhone is the first thing on my wish list!
