Police searching for boy who failed to return to Youth Correctional Facility

Police were looking for a 14-year-old boy who allegedly escaped from the Youth Correctional Facility in Kailua Saturday night.

The boy allegedly failed to return to the Youth Correctional Facility while on a furlough pass for the day, police said.

The boy was being sought for investigation of second-degree escape.
