The center lane of the town-bound H-1 Freeway will be closed today from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from the Kilauea Avenue off-ramp to the King Street off-ramp.
The state Department of Transportation says work crews will be working on the pavement.
All off-ramps and on-ramps will remain open. But motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect delays.
More pavement work is scheduled from Monday through Thursday night in the area when crews will close single lanes for pavement maintenance.
