Arguing couple arrested after car chase
A Nanakuli couple was arrested Saturday morning after ramming one another’s vehicles during a chase on the Waianae Coast, police said.
The man, 38, and woman, 31, were drinking when they got into an argument and decided to go home just before 2:45 a.m.
Once at their Mokiawe Street home, the woman left in a pickup, upsetting her husband, who allegedly followed in an SUV and rammed her pickup. That led to a chase through Nanakuli streets and then west-bound on Farrington Highway, police said.
Officers were able to stop both vehicles. Both reported being rammed multiple times by the other’s vehicle.
No one was hurt.
The couple was arrested near Makaha Valley Road on suspicion of first-degree criminal property damage.
