6 people sought in theft at Toys-R-Us

Police said they want to question six people in connection with the theft of toys from a Toys-R-Us display at Windward Mall.

Police said a witness informed a store manager that a group of people was removing items from a display in the front area of the store between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 1.

The witness reported seeing five women and a man making several trips carrying the unpaid-for items to a vehicle in the parking lot via an employee service corridor, police said.

Video recorded by a mall security camera shows six people carrying large, boxed toys through the corridor.
