Dillingham Boulevard reopened after water main break

All lanes of Dillingham Boulevard were reopened at about 6 a.m. following an 8-inch water main break Thursday afternoon.

Crews are repaired the roadway this morning after restoring water service to customers after the main break at 1087 Dillingham Boulevard near the Kokea Street intersection. The main break was reported at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Two eastbound and one westbound lane on Dillingham Boulevard were closed and trafficwas contraflowed to allow one open lane in each direction. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes where possible. 

Meanwhile, crews also finished repairs on an 8-inch main break at 2808 Lowrey Avenue in Manoa. Those repiars were completed at 1:30 a.m.
