UH baseball season tickets on sale today
Season tickets for the University of Hawaii baseball team go on sale today.
Hawaii, which finished 34-25 last season, will play 38 games at Les Murakami Stadium. The home schedule includes series against Oregon, Wichita State and Western Athletic Conference rival Fresno State.
The Rainbows were 17th in the nation last season with an average of 3,320 fans per home game.

Chaminade hires volleyball coach
Chaminade hired former Silverswords star Kahala Kabalis as its women’s volleyball head coach, the school announced Sunday.
Kabalis, a Moanalua High graduate, has served as an assistant coach at Hawaii Pacific and head coach at Le Jardin and Radford High.
As a college player, Kabalis earned Pacific West Conference first-team honors in 2003 and ’04.
"Kahala understands Chaminade and has a keen sense of pride and understanding of who we are and what we want to accomplish," said Chaminade athletic director Bill Villa.
UH’s Donovan to speak at QB Club today
Hawaii athletic director Jim Donovan will be a guest speaker at the weekly luncheon meeting of the Honolulu Quarterback Club today.
Charlie Wade, the Warriors’ men’s volleyball coach, will also speak.
The meeting is at the Maple Garden restaurant at 909 Isenberg St.
The public is invited to the luncheon that starts at 11:30 a.m. with the program to follow at noon. The cost is $15.
