Hawaii rallies past Pacific in 5 in men’s volleyball

Senior hitter Steven Hunt put down 25 kills and No. 14 Hawaii rallied from two sets down to rally past No. 12 Pacific 24-26, 22-26, 26-19, 27-25, 15-11 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s volleyball match tonight in Stockton, Calif.

Freshman middle Nick West added 12 kills and was in on eight blocks for the Warriors (5-5, 2-3 MPSF), who defeated the Tigers (3-6, 1-3) for the 30th consecutive time.

Taylor Hughes led Pacific with 22 kills.

The teams meet again Saturday.
