A 24-year-old Kalihi man was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with the sexual assault of a underaged girl in Ewa Beach earlier that day.
Police said the man, who is a family acquaintance, sexually assaulted the girl, 17, at her Ewa Beach home about 4 a.m. Wednesday.
The suspect was arrested in Kalihi about 12:45 p.m. Thursday and is being held pending one count of first-degree sexual assault.
