A man has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a teenage boy Tuesday in Kalihi.
A boy, 15, said he was threatened by a man at Hart and Kalihi streets about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday and then thrown in the trunk of a car
A description of the suspect and the vehicle were given and he was subsequently located at Puuhale Road and Puuhale Place a short time later, police said.
The suspect, 38, of a Kohou Street address, was arrested and is being held pending charges of kidnapping and first-degree terroristic threatening.
The victim and suspect are not related, police said.
