A 36-year-old man was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in stable condition after he fell into a 10-foot grease trap while working at Ala Moana Center this morning.
The accident occurred just after 8 a.m. in front of the shopping center’s Makai Marketplace.
Coworkers apparently pulled the man out of the sump, which is used as a grease trap, before paramedics and fire rescue personnel arrived after 8:15 a.m.
