A 21-year-old woman was in serious condition after she was apparently struck by a car while crossing Kapiolani Boulevard.
According to scanner transmissions, the woman suffered injuries to her head, face and knee and was unconscious for two minutes immediately following the collision Saturday night. Witnesses said she was thrown approximately 20 feet.
She was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center just after 9:30 p.m.
