» Seventy-two percent of Washington Middle School’s teachers are trained in AVID, an internationally recognized program that helps C-average kids do better and set their sights on college. A Page A21 story Friday said 42 percent are AVID-trained.
» Kauai Police Chief Darryl Perry was suspended Feb. 1 and placed on leave Feb. 8 after an investigation was launched into an employee complaint alleging a hostile work environment at the department. A Page A20 article Friday said he was placed on leave Feb. 1.
» Developer Franco Mola has applied to the Hawaii Community Development Authority to build two towers at 605 Kapiolani Blvd., but the agency hasn’t accepted the application. A Feb. 26 story on Page D1 said Mola hadn’t submitted an application.
