Finder ends hunt for mislaid keys
I can’t live without my Cle-a-porter key finder. Without it, I find myself taking up to a half-hour looking for my keys, sometimes having to dump out the entire contents of my purse. The simple leather strap, available in different colors, and clasp easily loop onto the handle of my handbag and keep my keys at the ready. I bought mine for $15.95 at A Little Bit of Everything, but it’s also available online at cle-a-porter.com. A Little Bit of Everything is in Imperial Plaza, 725 Kapiolani Blvd.; call 589-0045. — Teresa Sakurada, Ewa Beach
Towel illustrates a good beach snack
Fans of Foodland’s musubi-design reusable grocery bag will get a kick out of the store’s fun musubi beach towel. This 100 percent cotton towel features a sketch of a giant Spam musubi along with other variations on a teal background. It’s specially priced at $9.99 (regular price is $12.99) for Maika‘i members through March 20. Get it online at www.foodland.com/shop/musubi-beach-towel.

Hawaii history fitted on shirt
Last Swell Clothing’s “Grand Theft Aina” T-shirt recalls a dark chapter in Hawaii’s history with an imaginative parody of the popular “Grand Theft Auto” video game franchise. The phrase is self-explanatory. The design illustrates the evolution of the Hawaiian Islands from a free nation under indigenous gods through its years as a monarchy, then a U.S. territory and now a visitor destination. Buy it online from the Maui company at www.lastswell.com for $20. — John Berger
Caddy solves sudsy problem
My husband and I are 80-plus years old now. Our shower is equipped with grab bars, a stool and a hand-held shower head attachment. All we needed was an accessible soap holder. Most soap holders hang from the shower head so are difficult to reach if you are sitting. We found the perfect solution at City Mill for $5.99. The Umbra Saddle sink caddy comes in assorted colors and hangs neatly over the grab bar. We love ours. — Carol A. Holt, Honolulu
Fruit strips roll without syrup
Finding fruit rolls that don’t list corn syrup in the first few ingredients is difficult. Most fruit snacks seem more like candy than fruit. Archer Farms Organic Real Fruit Strips from Target leads its list with organic apple puree concentrate and organic apple juice concentrate, making for a more healthful afternoon snack. The 45-calorie strips don’t have that taffy-like consistency like so many other brands, making them a decent option for parents to nibble on when stuck in traffic. I keep a stash of the strawberry ones in my purse. They cost $3.49 for 10 strips or $6.99 for 25. — Donica Kaneshiro
