Ex-Warrior Manuwai lands with Falcons
Former UH lineman Vince Manuwai signed with the Atlanta Falcons, reuniting the offensive guard with his former offensive coordinator in Jacksonville.
Manuwai started 105 games over eight years with the Jaguars, who picked him in the third round of the 2003 draft.
The 6-foot-2, 312-pound Manuwai spent his last four seasons in Jacksonville working under Dirk Koetter, who was hired as the Falcons offensive coordinator. Manuwai was cut by the Jaguars in July 2010, then tore a tendon in his ankle during the NFL lockout and didn’t play this past season.
