41 apply to be next UH women’s basketball coach
The University of Hawaii said it had received 41 applications for the vacant women’s basketball head coaching job by mid morning.
A four-member search advisory committee convened Wednesday afternoon to begin the process of searching for a replacement for Dana Takahara-Dias.
She was fired March 7 after the Rainbow Wahine concluded an 11-19 season. She was 32-58 in three years as a head coach at her alma mater.
UH has not announced a deadline for the hiring.
