Taylor Sander put down 18 kills and Kauai High graduate Futi Tavana was in on seven blocks as No. 4 Brigham Young defeated No. 11 Hawaii in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s volleyball match for a second straight night at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The Cougars (17-4, 13-3 MPSF) outblocked the Warriors 10-4.

Steven Hunt had 13 kills for Hawaii (7-14, 4-12).
