Fresenius sells kidney clinics
Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, which operates dialysis clinics in Hawaii, has sold 54 of its facilities to Tennessee-based DSI Renal, according to a statement released by DSI.
The sale was driven by a U.S. Federal Trade Commission divestiture order following Fresenius’ purchase of Liberty Dialysis Holdings.
The DSI website does not yet indicate how many, if any, of its newly acquired clinics are in Hawaii.
