Cheese-making Brit to visit Foodlands
Taste a variety of English cheeses and meet British cheese maker Janette Scarth at select Foodland stores Friday to April 13.
Scarth, who hails from the Wensleydale-Benton Farm, will talk about the history of the creamery and hand out samples of cheeses from England, including Stilton, Farmhouse English Cheddar, 5 Cheddars Shire, Abbot’s Gold Caramelized Onion Cheddar and Real Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cranberries.

Taste of Waialua includes bus tours
Support North Shore agriculture at the fifth annual Taste of Waialua from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the Old Sugar Mill.
Vendors and exhibitors will feature locally produced coffee, cacao and produce, and the Waialua Farmers Co-op Market will be open.
Short narrated bus tours at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. will stop at historic sites, highlighting the agricultural history of the area, and briefly visit several local farms. Cost is $5. Call 779-7439 to pre-register or sign up on site.
