Browse Organik Clothing’s sea-inspired looks at party
Organik Clothing will debut its new summer 2012 collection, “The Seas Are Alive,” during a launch party from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Fishcake, 307 Kamani St. in Kakaako.
The playful, original designs are inspired by endless Hawaii summers, coconut lotion and lazy days at the beach. The shirts feature a palette of ocean- and nature-inspired colors such as sky blue, sea green and coral. Signature designs capture vintage nautical themes, beach culture and messages like “No Dumping, Flows to Ocean.”
Organik’s soft, vintage-style shirts are made from eco-friendly, certified organic cotton, sustainable bamboo and blends made from recycled plastic bottles. The designs are printed by hand with water-based inks so no two are exactly alike.
