Police arrested an 18-year-old Pearl City man who allegedly stole an iPod from a bus rider near the Pearl City Shopping Center.

The 23-year-old victim was sitting in the back of a bus headed for Ewa Beach listening to his iPod at 11:30 p.m. Monday when the suspect grabbed the device and got off the bus at the 1100 block of Waiamano Home Road Monday, police said.

The victim told the bus driver who notified police. Officers located the suspect about a block away on Kamehameha Highway and arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft.
