Man, 18, held in stabbing of his father
A man has been charged with trying to kill his father during an argument at the suspect’s home in Kailua.
Albert J. Ferreira, 18, of a South Kalaheo Avenue address, was charged Tuesday with second-degree attempted murder. He remained at the main police station in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Police said he stabbed his father, 50, with a knife when the two got into an argument about 6 p.m. Monday. The father called 911 and the son was arrested without incident.
An Emergency Medical Services supervisor said the father was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Teenager arrested in argument with dad
A 14-year-old boy allegedly pulled a knife on his father during an argument at a Waikiki home Monday afternoon.
Police arrested the boy for suspicion of terroristic threatening.
The teenager suffered minor injuries. He was treated at a hospital and released.
Witnesses sought in death in Makiki
Police and CrimeStoppers are seeking witnesses of a March 25 incident in Makiki that led to the death of a young man Tuesday.
A second-degree murder investigation has been opened into the death of Richie Villanueva, found lying in the parking lot at 1510 Dominis St. about 2:25 a.m. March 25.
Villanueva was hospitalized in critical condition with head injuries. He died Tuesday.
