Honolulu boutique among national contest winners
Honolulu boutique Eden In Love has been named a top three finalist in the National Retail Federation’s “This is Retail” video contest, and stands to win as much as $25,000 when the rankings are announced this month.
The video submitted by owner Tanna Dung focuses on the ways retailing creates opportunities to make a difference in the community and as with other entries, received public votes online.
Other finalists include Susan Kaufman of Market Alley Wines in Monmouth, Ill. and Kim Williams, of The Polka Dot Press in Tallahassee, Fla.
NRF awarded Jim Adams, of Falls Road Running Store in Baltimore, Md., a Judge’s Choice Award, for his video on how retail powers the economy.
Finalists will be flown to Wash., D.C. for the announcement of the rankings at the NRF Washington Leadership Conference May 16. The grand prize winner will receive $25,000, while $15,000 will be awarded to the second-place winner, and the third-place winner will receive $10,000.
