Helicopter crashes in Kona, two injured
A helicopter crashed about 10 miles northeast of the Kona International Airport about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Local authorities tell the Federal Aviation Administration that the two people on board were injured, but did not indicate how seriously.
The helicopter left the Kona airport for an instructional flight, the FAA said.
