Chyanne Koko’s bases-loaded triple with two outs in the top of the sixth inning broke a 7-7 tie as Nankuli topped Kauai 14-8 to advance to the Division II championship for the first time.
Koko’s triple into the right-center gap highlighted Nanakuli’s seven-run rally in the sixth after the Hawks fell behind 7-3 after four innings.
Koko drove in six runs and also earned a complete-game win.

Deannalynn Tafiti hit a two-run homer and earned a complete-game win to lead the Menehunes into the final.
Kalaheo took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the first on Venise Elisara’s three-run homer. Waimea answered with five runs in the top of the second, all of the scoring coming with two outs.
The Menehunes continued to pull away, and Gaylan Matagiese’s three-run home run in the fifth inning brought the 10-run rule into effect.
