Teen arrested in Waianae after incident involving stepmother
A 16-year-old girl was arrested after allegedly assaulting her stepmother in Waianae Monday night.
Police said the victim, 25, was sitting in her vehicle when the girl opened the car door and struck her numerous times. The girl was apparently distraught at the recent divorce of her biological parents, police said.
The girl was arrested on suspicion of first- degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
