Woman arrested for allegedly passing counterfeit $20 bill
Police arrested a 42-year-old woman who allegedly tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill this morning to an attendant at a Kalihi gas station.
The cashier used a “money pen,” which showed the bill to be a fake, police said.
The cashier called police, and officers arrested the woman on suspicion of first-degree forgery.
She was later released pending investigation.
