UH softball game at WAC tournament delayed by rain
The University of Hawaii softball team’s Western Athletic Conference tournament game against San Jose State has been delayed by rain in Las Cruces, N.M.
The Rainbow Wahine and Spartans were originally scheduled to play at 7:30 a.m. Hawaii time, but the game will now follow the completion of the game between Fresno State and Louisiana Tech, which was suspended due to lightning Wednesday night.
Louisiana Tech led Fresno State 13-7 in the top of the fifth inning when play was halted. The game is slated to resume at 10:30 a.m., weather permitting.
The UH-SJSU game will follow 35 minutes after the completion of the game.
