Man arrested for allegedly punching acquaintance in Waikiki
Police arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with a fight in Waikiki in March.
Police identified a Waikiki man as the alleged attacker and arrested him about 12:50 p.m. Friday in Waikiki for investigation of second-degree assault.
The man approached the other man about 2:15 a.m. March 27 and exchanged words, then punched the victim from behind as he tried to walk away, police said.
The victim, 24, was injured and went to the hospital.
