Notes: The Hornets went from worst to first and will play in the WAC tournament at Hohokam Stadium for the first time. Freshman outfielder Rhys Hoskins led the team in hitting (.355), home runs (10) and RBIs (49).
3. Nevada
Record: 31-23 (11-7)

All-WAC players: OF Brooks Klein, Jr. (.333, 15 2Bs, 8 HRs, 42 RBIs); C Carlos Escobar, Jr. (.278, 14 2Bs, 36 RBIs); SP Bradey Shipley, So. (8-4, 2.12 ERA, 891/2 IP, 79 SO); SP Tom Jameson, Jr. (7-2, 2.19 ERA, 901/3 IP, ); 1B Kewby Meyer, Fr. (.333, 22 runs, 34 RBIs).
Notes: The Wolf Pack lost out on an outright conference title and first-round bye with an 8-3 loss to Hawaii in their regular-season finale. Kamehameha graduate Kewby Meyer was named second-team All-WAC after sharing the team lead with a .333 batting average. He committed just four errors in 49 starts at first base.
4. Hawaii
Record: 30-23 (10-8)
All-WAC players: SS Pi’ikea Kitamura, Jr. (.308, 8 2Bs, 28 RBIs); OF Zack Swasey, Sr. (.284, 10 2Bs, 11 SBs); 3B Collin Bennett, Sr. (.326, 3 HRs, 32 RBIs); SP Matt Sisto, Sr. (8-3, 3.03 ERA, 89 IP, 11 BB, .251 BAA).
Notes: The Rainbows won all three WAC series at home, but were 3-6 on the road. Team ERA of 3.12 was more than half a run better than the next closest team. All three of Collin Bennett’s home runs came in the past two weeks.
5. Fresno State
Record: 25-25 (8-10)

All-WAC players: OF Aaron Judge, So. (.315, 4 HRs, 42 runs, 12 SBs); DH Kenny Wise, Sr. (.319, 4 HRs, 33 RBIs); 1B Trent Garrison, Jr. (.327, 51 hits, 8 2Bs); 2B Pat Hutcheson, Sr. (.302, 4 HRs, 24 RBIs); 3B Jake Alvarez, So. (.322, 17 runs); SP Justin Haley, Jr. (6-3, 2.63 ERA, 782/3 IP, 83 K); SP Tom Harlan, Sr. (6-7, 2.73 ERA, 89 IP, 2 CG).
Notes: The Bulldogs have made the NCAA tournament five out of the past six years, winning the national title in 2008. FSU pitchers struck out 425 batters in 4442/3 innings.
6. Louisiana Tech

Notes: First baseman Alex Williams finished second in the league with 11 home runs. The Bulldogs won two WAC tourney games for the first time last year, losing to UH to finish third.
