Hotel fashion show will aid charity walk
Tori Richard’s collection will be shown during a fashion show from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Ainahau Showroom. The hotel’s engineering department is hosting the show, with help from friends, to support the Aloha United Way Charity Walk.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Doors open at noon. Prizes, a silent auction and a raffle are included.

‘Guru of glow’ offers skin consultations
Those in need of tips for protecting skin against the ravages of the hot summer days ahead have two opportunities to catch up with Kate Somerville, Hollywood’s "guru of glow," this weekend.

YWCA sale features clothing bargains
The YWCA of Oahu is hosting a benefit clothing sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 30 and 31 in the Laniakea YWCA lobby at 1040 Richards St.
The event will feature bargains on new and used women’s clothing and accessories, with proceeds helping the organization support economically disadvantaged women who are re-entering the workforce.

Vintage items available at event
Waioli Tea Room will be the site of a weekend vintage and garden sale that includes Victorian, midcentury Modern, country-style and shabby chic furniture, plus linens, lace, collectible jewelry, handbags and enamelware.
The event takes place 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 2950 Manoa Road.

Free tote bags await first 150 folks in line
Forever 21 at Royal Hawaiian Center is giving away Charlotte Free "Love Is Free" tote bags Saturday to the first 150 people in line on level 1 of Building C at the center. No purchase is necessary.
The store will open at 9:50 a.m. for these customers, then at 10 a.m. to other shoppers.
Validated parking covers one hour free and $1 per hour for the next three hours. Beyond four hours, parking is $6 per hour.
