Police arrest man for alleged knife threat at gas station

A 48-year-old man allegedly threatened two gas station employees with a knife Friday in the Kapahulu area.

Police said the employees, a 23-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, told the older man to leave, but he brandished a knife and threatened them about 5 p.m.

Officers found the man a short distance away at Harding and Kapahulu avenues. Officers arrested the man, who did not give police an address, for investigation of first-degree terroristic threatening.
