Members of frequent flyer programs by both Hawaiian Airlines and JetBlue Airways soon will be able to earn and redeem points or miles for travel on either airline, the companies announced today.

A new codeshare agreement between the airlines takes effect June 5, when Hawaiian launches its nonstop service between Hawaii and New York City.

As of June 5, JetBlue’s TrueBlue members can earn one point for every two miles flown on eligible Hawaiian-operated flights, while HawaiianMiles members can accrue miles on eligible JetBlue-operated flights on a mile-for-mile basis.
